The Dawnecution, or the 6th Mass Extinction had destroyed Earth to the point of no return. All biodiversity on Earth was completely lost. Fast forward to 180 million (human) years later, the Time Trotters are an evolved civilisation, we've strengthen our time-travelling abilities for survival. We are a harmonious society made of multiple species — specifically, we are fragments of Earth’s timelines. It’s not unusual to see Vikings, Zombies, and Astronauts hanging out with one another. The division that you know of as sexism, racism, and ableism are non-existent here. We’ve evolved beyond inter- and between-species oppression. In our world, we simply live to experience and observe.
